Ballpoint Animal Portrait Commissions

Each portrait comes on a 11x14 sheet of Bristol board, with a 1 inch border around the image. These portraits take days of work and at least 2 full pen cartridges to create, with multiple layers of marks on each inch of the surface. These portraits are full of texture and detail, both meant to be observed at a distance and admired up close.
Upon requiring of a commission, I require 2-5 of your best, high-quality images of your pet. If photograph quality or angles are not of high standard, I reserve the right to decline the commission request or request different photographs. Coming from experience, I know that the more detailed and better the photograph(s), the better the final artwork will turn out.
Obtaining better photos may require asking a professional photographer to take photos of your pet, or borrowing a better digital camera or smartphone from a friend to take them yourself. If needed, I can send you some sample poses that may help.
If you would like to use a professional photographer's image, please obtain written consent from the photographer for the ability to use their image as a reference for the artwork.
