In the second half of 2019, I focused on bowls, combining glazes, and illustrations. Most of the illustrations were done with a layered stencil approach, similar to spray paint art. This technique added a graphic and layered effect to the clay, which is what I was aiming for. The layers for each stencil were first done digitally, cut out into a plastic sheet, and painted onto the clay.
